Pornstar News: Good-bye, Good Night, and Good Luck
As large as it may seem, the adult industry is a somewhat tightly-knit fraternity (or should I say sorority since it is the women that are largely the industry’s stars?). A lot of the performers, even if they’ve never worked together, pretty much know of or have heard of a lot of their colleagues in the business.
So even when a starlet who is not as well known dies, the news reverberates within the industry. I just thought it’d be nice to point out the passing of an adult performer, seeing how I make money on these performers as a whole.
I’d just like to take this opportunity to say farewell to Jasmine Grey . As you can see from the photos below, she was a very beautiful woman. She will be missed…
Switching gears, in case you don’t know by now, the sun is setting on Taylor (motherfuckin’) Rain’s career in front of the camera. She is retiring from performing. She’s still going to direct adult films for the Torrid/Defiance company, though. What she lacked in terms of voluptuousness (read big boobs) she certainly made up for in sexual proclivity: she was a real filthy fucker and I say that with all due respect.
She has a reasonably new site (her regular pay site, taylorrainxxx.com, doesn't seem to be up any longer) that she “inherited” at Lukeford.com . It’s a porn gossip site, and it seems to be a project she can work on in her free time, in lieu of performing. Considering that she once expressed interest in rapping (or maybe she just wanted to do 50cent, I forget), I’d say that the Lukeford site is a good thing. Pornstar turned rapper? Not so much of a good thing (see Heather Hunter and Jake Steed)…
“Whatever Happened To…?”, Part VII: For all you fans of 90s porn, the one and only Taylor Hayes is making a comeback; which is great. She’s signed up with Seymour Butts’ new talent agency .
What I never knew (until recently) was that she and Butts had a kid together. Would that kid happen to be Brady, the one that I felt sorry for in my review of Butts’ Family Business DVD? Well, good luck to her on her road back to stardom; and in the meantime maybe she can help out with the kid’s therapy bills…
